I have been helping individuals and families locate their perfect home for over 20 years.  I have extensive market and transaction expertise with a regional focus on the West side of Los Angeles, including Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Cheviot Hills and Brentwood.  I maintain intimate local area knowledge of all the aforementioned areas and work diligently to help buyers and sellers meet their real estate goals, whatever they may be.  I take great pride in accomplishing top notch execution for each and every client.

Throughout any transaction, most buyers have moments of feeling overwhelmed or lost.  I make sure to spend as much time as necessary to answer all client questions and address all client concerns up front and in a professional manner.  Although I have been helping real estate buyers and sellers since I received my license in 1982, I recognize that for many of the families or inidviduals I help this is the first time they have purchased or sold a home.  For that reason, I take special care to reassure  my clients that no question is "dumb" and they should feel free to always express their wants and needs.

Many real estate brokers tend to focus solely on the transaction and they look forward to gaining a fee.  I believe this approach is short-sighted and does not create a sustainable, lasting base of business.  I want to create strong, long-term relationships with my clients.  If I am serving a client for 6 months and we are unable to find the perfect property, I will coach my client to be sure to be patient and understand there is no rush.  This is a large purchase, for most people it is the biggest purchase they will ever make, and there is never a justifiable reason to rush into a purchase or sale if my client is not 100% satisfied with all aspects of the transaction. 

Over my more than 20 years as a real estate agent I have honed my negotiation skills and I fully understand how a buyer or seller can improve their deal during the final purchase or sale agreement noegotiation.  This ensures my clients get the best possible deal and leads to a successful closing.  Nothing brings me greater satisfaction then when I see my clients excited about their new home or the price they received when selling their current home.   

As we all know, the economy has been very difficult and it has put a strain on all of our wallets.  The benefit to you is that real estate prices in Southern California are at their lowest level relative to household income in years.  For this reason, it makes a great deal of financial sense for buyers to look for properties now if you do not plan to buy it for speculative purposes.  On the flip side, well-maintained and attractive properties are still commanding strong values and in many cases multiple offers.  Therefore, sellers of quality properties have a good opportunity to realize value as well.

I asked Margie White to give me your e-mail address so that I could write to express what a positive experience I had in purchasing my condo here in Brentwood.
